Bringing engineering design to your classroom. This is a hands-on workshop to engage you in the design process and help you explore the pedagogy of NGSS . This special presentation will give you a hands-on opportunity to experience the work of an engineering team and to gain first hand understanding of design vocabulary and methods. You will work in teams to build a structure under constraints and demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate, and use critical thinking aligned to the Common Core and the Next Generation Standards. You can replicate this in your classroom next week! Students from 3rd to 12th grade will benefit from this activity.
