Blended Learning in a Mathematics Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

A blended learning environment provides students with many of the 21st century learning skills that are necessary for a successful transition to college. I will present use of video in the mathematics classroom and how to free up class time for discussions of homework problems and their solutions. Using a blended model is not as extreme as flipping a classroom but provides many of the advantages. Attendees need to come with an open mind toward modifying instruction to a device laden classroom.
